Abstract: This study evaluates the career outcomes of vocational education graduates in Nigeria, focusing on employment rates, job satisfaction, and career advancement opportunities. Vocational education plays a critical role in preparing individuals for specific careers, yet there is limited research on the long-term career trajectories of graduates in the Nigerian context. The research aims to (1) assess the employment rates and types of jobs secured by vocational graduates, (2) examine factors influencing job satisfaction and career progression, and (3) identify pathways for enhancing career outcomes through education and policy interventions. A survey research design is employed to gather data from vocational graduates, employers, and industry stakeholders. A sample size of 500 participants will be selected through purposive sampling to ensure representation across different vocational disciplines and regions in Kaduna State. Case studies will provide detailed insights into factors contributing to successful career outcomes. Findings revealed varying employment rates across sectors, with skills relevance, industry connections, and continuous learning emerging as critical determinants of career success. Recommendations include strengthening industry partnerships for internship and job placement opportunities, promoting lifelong learning initiatives, and aligning vocational curricula with emerging job market trends to enhance graduate employability.
